Come see Hebrew school for yourself

Our open day is a real Sunday morning: your kids join a class, you meet the teachers, and everyone bakes something. Here's what to expect.

Choosing a Hebrew school is hard to do from a brochure. So instead of a brochure, we open our doors on a real Sunday morning. Your children join a class their age, and you get coffee, a tour, and as much time with the teachers as you want.

What the morning looks like

How it works

Sunday, 10:00 to noon

  1. 1. 10:00 — Welcome

Name tags, coffee for parents, and kids meet their teacher for the morning.

  2. 2. 10:15 — Class

A real lesson: Hebrew letters, a story and a song. Parents can watch from the back.

  3. 3. 11:15 — Olive press

Everyone presses olives into oil, the way they did in the Chanukah story.

  4. 4. 11:45 — Questions

Parents sit with the Rebbetzin and the teachers. Ask about anything.

Sign up so we have enough olives

The open day is free. Sign up on our Events page so every child gets a press and a name tag.
